The Story of The Non-Aggressive Winner

In the game of Texas Holdem Poker, the most asked question is "how does one deal with aggressive players?" This is because there are lots of players who struggle to win against these types of players.

But texas holdem poker players should not fear the aggressive types. In fact if you know how to play them correctly you can end a session with most or all of their chips. The secret is to get most of their chips before other players also try to take advantage of the agressive player's mistakes.

Here is a story of a player who made money from aggressive Texas Holdem Poker players at a tournament. You may be able to get a tip or two from reading his story.

There were two players that spoke the Russian language. These two players were very aggressive, they rarely checked or called. They would simply raise the hand significantly. That is why when they bet a hand you know that they were going to bet big. So if you were to bet your cards you should be prepared to bet big as well.

The longer the game went, the more apparent that these aggressive players were playing bad hands. They were using their assertive chatter to intimidate the other players. But there were times that their bad hands were matched by a player with a better hand.

It took a very long time before the non-aggressive player was able to get a good hand. Finally when the non-aggressive player had a good hand he prepared to set his trap for the aggressive players.

The non-aggressive player delayed saying "check" for ten seconds and gave the aggressive players a slightly disgusted look. Then the aggressive player raised 3000 chips. All the other players folded except the non-aggressive player. The non-aggressive eventually set the aggressive player into a one on one game.

When the action came back to the non-aggressive player he delayed and bobbled his head as if struggling with his decision. Then he said "all-in", because he knew that it will trigger an aggressive reaction. This is because his "check-raise" made it appear that he was trying to steal the pot.

The aggressive player was very predictable and called. And the rest as they say is history. The aggressive player was driven out of the table and the non-aggressive one increased his pot.

The key to play against very aggressive Texas Holdem Poker players is to have a workable Texas Holdem Poker strategy. Use that strategy to make some profit from the good hands that come your way.

If you have a great plan against these aggressive Texas Holdem Pokers you will have a stockpile of chips. The stack of chips will be greatly needed as the tournament moves on. This is because the antes and the blinds will increase to eliminate more players.

Make sure you're one of those players who last to the end and avoid falling into the traps of agressive players.
